The media universe surveyed on Dati e Tariffe - inclusive of addresses, rates, technical data, research by Ads, Audipress, Auditel, Audiradio - comprises 98 newspapers, 111 local periodicals, 826 illustrated periodicals, 935 technical publications (Dati e Tariffe is the only source for this category, which is not surveyed by Ads and Audipress), 48 outdoor advertising companies, 245 exhibitions, 9 TV networks, 14 radio networks, 2000 foreign publications.
Starting with the first issue of 1998, Dati e Tariffe has a new section dedicated to the Internet, carrying the data that concerns audience, editorial outlines and ad rates for websites which place their banners at the media investors disposal.
To provide subscribers with a truly updated service Dati e Tariffe is published every two months. Each issue contains more than 1000 revised listings (new periodicals, deletions, changes of name, address, rates or technical data).

Italy has been divided into 11 macro-regions, and for each province in all of the macro-regions the following are taken into examination: local newspapers or local editions of nationwide newspapers, the main local periodicals, local TV and radio stations, outdoor ( poster 6X3, banners, other kind), cinemas.
